Line Locating Division

HWS now has a dedicated line locating division for private residential, industrial, oilfield, and commercial properties. Alberta 1 Call only allows for services to be located up to the service meter and will not locate private services such as accessory building services. During peak seasons, it may cost too much to wait for 1st Call which can often take several days or weeks and delay your project. 

Our locators are certified and use the best locating equipment on the market to mitigate the risks of hitting an active line. 

Underground lines need to be made of conductive material such as metal. PVC and plastic lines cannot be located unless a tracer wire was installed, or by feeding a trace wire inside the pipe.
